Xpec Technologies (7796) has officially formed a strategic partnership with European edge AI chip startup Axelera AI, showcasing their latest edge AI technology at this year’s COMPUTEX exhibition. This collaboration targets specialized application areas such as drones, border security, and campus safety, aiming to innovate applications for high-performance AI inference.

By integrating Axelera AI's high-performance AI chip platform with Xpec's expertise in ASIC design and AI system optimization, both parties aim to provide flexible, efficient, and scalable edge AI solutions to help global system integrators and end-users seize the next wave of smart application opportunities.

During the showcase, Xpec presented a real-time visual recognition platform supporting 8K high-definition streaming and precise object detection algorithms, delivering data center-level AI processing capabilities on edge devices for specialized task applications like drones, border patrols, and campus security.
