Although only conducting a 'touch-and-go' maneuver without actual landing and takeoff procedures, the exercise confirmed the feasibility of wartime relocation and evacuation operations, aiding future 'flexible combat deployment' capabilities.

This runway operation is a regular training exercise for the Finnish Air Force, which extended invitations to Norway and the United States to participate with their F-35A aircraft after Finland's accession to NATO. The event not only aims to share operational experiences with allies but also enhances rapid evacuation capabilities in the event of attacks on friendly bases, sustaining air defense strength.
