The Taoyuan City Department of Education is committed to promoting green campuses and fostering environmental consciousness among students. Recently, Shuimei Elementary School in Yangmei District hosted a three-day environmental education event, allowing students to learn about the importance of environmental protection through interactive activities.

During the event, students participated in programs offered by the ‘KOKO Net Zero Green Lifestyle Pavilion’ mobile environmental education vehicle, which included eight themed learning stations focused on carbon emissions and sustainable development. Teachers and students collaborated to plan and execute various educational activities to enhance environmental awareness.

Shuimei Elementary School hopes that such initiatives will encourage students to practice energy conservation and carbon reduction in their daily lives, developing a deep-rooted sense of environmental stewardship and sustainable development from a young age.
