JJ Lin's Controversial Concert in Taipei Taiwan Raises Eyebrows but Attracts 40,000 Fans Tonight

JJ Lin held his first concert at the Taipei Arena, continuing his "JJ20 FINAL LAP World Tour" today (June 8). During his performance of 'Those Dreams You Dared to Risk' last night, he mentioned the names of several Chinese cities based on signs held by fans, leading some netizens to express dissatisfaction, saying, "Why mention so many Chinese places in a concert held in Taipei?" Some defended him by noting that as a Singaporean, he might not be as sensitive to cross-strait issues.
Tonight, he emphasized his 'international' appeal by calling out cities like Paris, Los Angeles, Malaysia, and Tokyo, followed by shouting out 'Taipei', which excited the audience of 40,000 fans. After reflecting overnight, JJ still showed remarkable energy, stating, "It's the second night in Taipei, and it's very emotional for me to be back here! I hope to catch up with you all." He also asked the audience, "Are you guys excited?" which amped up the atmosphere further.
JJ reiterated that the 'FINAL LAP' symbolizes his 22 years in the industry and hopes to showcase his growth through music. He emotionally stated, "Music is a refuge for me, and tonight the Taipei Arena becomes our sacred place," disregarding all controversies.
