Indian Prodigy Anand Denies Prediction of 8.2 Earthquake on June 14

Online rumors alleged that Indian prodigy Anand predicted an 8.2 earthquake would occur at 3:47 AM on June 14. In response, a user sought clarification from him, allegedly receiving a denial stating, "I never said that."

As of June 14, only a magnitude 6.1 earthquake was recorded in waters near the Northern Kuril Islands, with a depth of 10 kilometers and a maximum intensity of level 1, felt in parts of Hokkaido and Honshu.
