Taiwanese influencer Guanchang (Chen Zihan) recently stirred controversy during a live stream in Shanghai, showcasing exaggerated praise that annoyed netizens from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Lawyer Ba Mao (Chen Yuhan), who previously joined 'United Front Tour Groups', has come forward revealing more truths, stating that these trips are designed to present a prosperous façade while hiding the actual conditions.
Ba noted that participants enjoyed luxurious accommodations, gourmet meals, and even police escorts during their visits, but did not get to experience local delicacies. She expressed disbelief at such orchestrated experiences meant to obscure the reality of China, questioning how much the Chinese government spends on such tourism propaganda.
