Israel and Iran Again Exchange Missiles, No Leak at Nuclear Facilities

Israeli Defense Minister Katz warned that if Iran continues to launch missiles at civilian areas, “Tehran will burn,” and that the residents of Iran's capital will pay a heavy price for the suffering endured by Israeli civilians. The Israeli military also stated that it would continue its assault on Tehran, claiming that “the path to Tehran has been paved.” Iran, in turn, threatened further retaliation against Israel and declared its intent to attack Israel's allies.

On June 14, Israel continued its attacks on Iran, with Iranian state media reporting a fire at a factory in western Iran previously used for automobile production. The Iranian city of Abadan and the border area near Kurdistan also reportedly faced assaults. Concurrently, Iran retaliated with explosions in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, leading to casualties among civilians. The Israeli military has urged residents to enter shelters, confirming at least one death and over 34 injuries, including a severely injured woman trapped under rubble.

The International Atomic Energy Agency stated that no increase in radiation levels was detected at Iran's nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Natanz following the attacks. This assault targeted Iran's nuclear facilities and nuclear scientists in order to inhibit its potential development of nuclear weapons, which Iran has consistently denied, emphasizing its nuclear program is intended for peaceful purposes.

Moreover, Iranian state television claimed that its military shot down an Israeli F35 fighter jet, and the pilot is believed to be missing. However, this report remains unverified by Israel. Iranian authorities have restricted internet services in the country, citing interference with information circulation. The upcoming US-Iran talks scheduled for June 15 remain uncertain.
