This morning (19th), at the 微風運河, a Japanese athlete, Sakura Invers, experienced an unexpected helmet malfunction right before participating in the canoe polo event. She needed a suitable replacement helmet immediately but couldn't find one.
Quickly, she sought help from the police on site. Officers Yu Dong-ju and Hong Cheng-feng from the Lu Zhou Police Station promptly returned to the station to grab necessary tools and rushed back to assist her. They succeeded in modifying the helmet to meet safety standards before the registration deadline, allowing Sakura to compete.
