Two legislators from Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province, Aloysius and Marcelinus, paid a visit to Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che on the 20th. They were welcomed by Su En-en, the director of the News and International Affairs Office.

Mayor Huang noted that East Nusa Tenggara is an important city for agriculture and culture in Indonesia, while Tainan is Taiwan's first city, sharing common characteristics. He expressed hope for future collaborations in student exchanges, sports events, and interscholastic activities, and he would like to see high schools from both sides establish sister school relationships for student exchanges.

Aloysius pointed out that East Nusa Tenggara's agriculture is still practiced in traditional ways and expressed desire to learn advanced agricultural techniques from Tainan. He also encouraged students from East Nusa Tenggara to come to Tainan for learning. Marcelinus highlighted the importance of visiting Tainan as it is an advanced city and expressed hope for further opportunities for students from East Nusa Tenggara in sports and exchange.
