In the South Korean presidential election held today (3rd), voting concluded at 8 PM local time. As the ballot counting is underway, major media outlets announced around midnight that Lee Jae-myung is 'certainly victorious.' In his brief remarks, Lee stated, 'I pay my respects to the great decision made by the people.'
As of now, the total vote count has reached 43.01%, with Lee's votes at 48.99% and his opponent Kim Moon-soo at 42.66%, widening the gap as counting progresses.
