This event is certified by the World Association of Chefs Societies and has attracted 650 top competitors from Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, Italy, and Hong Kong, making it the largest competition to date. Instructor Tseng was also invited as a judge, showcasing his esteemed position in the international culinary community.

Graduate Li Min-Hao, participating in his first international contest, aimed to mark the end of his college career on a high note. Zhang Guan-Jie, nominated for Taiwan's Best Chef representative, although did not win, still gained valuable experience.
Soon Ming-Tsong, competing for the second consecutive year, earned a silver medal with his dish that featured a three-color Italian dumpling skin filled with chicken mousse.
