US Military Strengthens in Response to Iran's Hypersonic Missile Attacks on Israel
The US has bolstered military strength in the Middle East with two aircraft carriers to counter Iran's actions. Iran is launching a significant number of ballistic and hypersonic missiles targeting residential areas in Israel, worsening the safety situation. The US military's "bunker buster" bombers and penetrating warheads are becoming crucial response measures. The US is also deploying F-16s, F-22s, and F-35s, with approximately 46,000 troops stationed across eight military bases in Turkey, Iraq, and the Gulf countries.
Professor Yeh Yaowen shared insights on Taiwan's international situation, noting that President Lai Ching-te's labeling of China as a "foreign hostile force" is beneficial in clarifying national security issues. In his one-year anniversary speech, President Lai intentionally avoided mentioning China to prevent interference during US-Taiwan negotiations, which has sparked discussions about the "merger theory."
